Kech Travel Bus

Kech Travel Bus — contractual framework

Hire termsand conditions

These terms govern every minibus hire with driver booked with Kech Travel Bus SARL, a licensed tourist transport operator under licence no. 04/2013/MRK. They merge the general terms of hire with the per-booking commercial terms. The former address /conditions-generales/ now redirects to this single page.

A confirmed quote, accepted by return message, stands as acceptance of these terms.

Contract and bound parties

The transport contract binds Kech Travel Bus SARL, a licensed tourist transport operator under licence no. 04/2013/MRK, and the client who confirms the quote. Confirming the quote by return message stands as acceptance of the contract, with no paper signature. The contract covers one vehicle per booking, unless a convoy is stated on the quote.

Kech Travel Bus SARL is registered with the Marrakech trade register under RC no. 68 421, with a share capital of 350,000 MAD, domiciled on Avenue Mohammed VI in Guéliz.

Price: what is included and excluded

The price shown on the quote includes the driver, fuel, tolls and the vehicle’s insurance cover. It excludes meals, site entry fees, tipping and traveller accommodation on multi-day tours.

Driving beyond the 250 km allowance for a 10-hour day adds €4.50 per extra kilometre for a 9-seat minibus, following the per-capacity schedule published on the rates page.

Driver hours

The driver drives 10 hours maximum per day, a legal and safety cap set for tourist transport. A job exceeding that cap brings in a second driver or an extra overnight stop.

This cap protects the passenger as much as the driver on long mountain routes, such as the Tizi n’Tichka road between Marrakech and Ouarzazate.

Luggage allowance by capacity

Each vehicle capacity sets a hold luggage limit, from 7 suitcases for the 7-seat van to 24 for the 22-seat Toyota Coaster. The table below lists the hold capacity by model, against the same daily driving cap.

Passenger obligations

The passenger keeps the departure time agreed on the quote and the declared luggage count. Exceeding the declared luggage count requires a second vehicle, billed at the rate of the added capacity.

  • Keep the departure time agreed on the quote
  • Declare the exact luggage count before departure
  • Wear the seatbelt at every seated position
  • Flag any extra stop to the driver before the journey

Insurance and civil liability

Wafa Assurance, a Moroccan insurance company, covers the fleet under policy no. 7719-004. This policy combines carrier civil liability with an individual accident guarantee for every passenger on board.

The cover applies across the whole Moroccan territory served, including mountain passes such as the Tizi n’Tichka and the Tizi n’Test.

Damage and vehicle cleaning

Any damage found on the vehicle after the booking is billed at the real cost of the repair, set by the fleet’s maintenance workshop. Extra cleaning tied to a soiled seat or a spill is billed as a separate flat fee.

Rachid El Ouazzani, workshop manager since 2013, issues the repair estimate within 48 hours of the vehicle’s return.

300 MAD.

Payment terms

The client pays in cash, in dirhams or in euros, or by bank transfer, directly to the driver at the end of the booking. Business clients pay on a 30-day invoice, at Morocco’s 20% VAT rate.

No deposit is requested below five booked vehicles. A 30% deposit applies from five vehicles upward.

Late arrival and no-show

The driver waits 60 free minutes after the flight’s actual landing time, followed by €8 per extra hour of waiting. A no-show at the agreed meeting point forfeits 100% of the quoted amount.

Force majeure

A mechanical breakdown, a weather event or a closed road triggers a full refund or a replacement vehicle within 90 minutes. The Tizi n’Tichka pass closes 2 to 5 days a year under snow, between December and February.

Governing law and jurisdiction

The contract falls under Moroccan law and dahir no. 1-63-260 on road motor vehicle transport. Any commercial dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Marrakech commercial court, the court of the registered office.

Luggage and driver hours by capacity

The hold ranges from 7 bags for the 7-seat van to 24 bags for the 22-seat Toyota Coaster, under the same 10-hour daily driving cap.

Frequently asked questions

Is the hire contract written?

The quote confirmed by return message stands as the written contract. No paper signature is required for a standard hire. Multi-day tours add a detailed order form.

Do the general terms of hire still exist as a separate document?

No, the two documents are merged into this single page. The address /conditions-generales/ redirects here automatically. The commercial and general clauses apply together, with no hierarchy between them.

Can a driver refuse extra luggage?

Yes, if the luggage exceeds the hold capacity declared on the quote. The driver then proposes a second vehicle, billed at the rate of the added capacity. Undeclared luggage delays the group’s departure.
